I have decided, therefore, not even to blog during the month of May, and I won't be checking email either.
I am going to keep a notebook of my experience, however, and will continue writing here up until May 1, according to my whims.
Keep the notebook in digital format so you can post it easily when the month is up. I don't think you're expression and desire to share things should be stifled, just temporarily suspended as per your own desire to participate in the thing you're doing. The challenge was for internet and TV as means of pacification and entertainment, not the computer as a tool (thus why I didn't suggest you resort to cave painting). If you had to work with a vidcom system I wouldn't think that counts either even though the physical device is essentially a TV with no entertainment input (therefore just a tool). Otherwise it would be Amish month... and in the famous words of Marlon Brando: "Get the butter"
ReplyDeleteIDK, digital notebook seems awfully close to blog post, but I don't want to split hairs. Though I may opine, I say it's your month, spend it any way you want to.
